My Workspace

After Michelle's post about workspace inspiration, I thought I'd do a quick little post to show off my desk.
This is where the magic happens. This is also probably the cleanest my desk has ever been. I tend to get a little cluttered [little is an understatement] while doing projects which gets overwhelming. Right now I'm working off my childhood desk which came in a 6-piece bedroom set. I've had it for as long as I can remember and it's in really good shape for being over 15 years old.
I love having a little greenery on my desk. It brightens the whole room. A few picture frames and decoration here and there, recycled soup cans full of art-making supplies, and my printer are all staples in my workspace. The only thing missing from my desk is my fish, Marvin, who currently lives with Mike until my back-an-forth between Springboro and Oxford slows after the holidays.

My desk works perfectly for now, but eventually I'd like to switch to a simpler slab-top desk with out a hutch. While I'll lose storage space, I really like minimalistic work spaces and I'd have room for my inspiration boards on the wall.
