so i finally watched julie & julia...

Yesterday as I was working on my blog face lift, I flipped on Netflix and decided to watch Julie & Julia. I really had no clue what it was about, just that it was about a true story and cooking. I wasn't sure I'd like it because obviously I'm no master chef [or even a decent cook] but I was happily surprised.

I had no idea it was about a blog which obviously hit home for me. A lot of the issues Julie faces, we as bloggers can have troubles with. It turned out to be a great movie and made me really hungry in the process :] I'd definitely recommend it to any fellow bloggers out there.

After the movie I googled the original blog from Julie & Julia and sure enough, there it was, exactly as they portrayed it in the movie. Even the layout and colors were the same. Kudos for going that in depth with retelling the story!

I've finished my first week of my Project 365! I'll be posting the first 7 photos in a little while but first, I'd like to tell everyone about the survey I have going on right now. In the left hand sidebar there is a survey I'd like all of you to take. It won't take more than 2 seconds, so if you could tell me which of my features you'd like to see more of [you can choose more than once answer] it would really be helpful. I'm trying to make Crafted Love even better this year and would love to hear you thoughts!

Also, don't forget about my giveaway I have going on currently! Lots of fun prizes and a few items from my shop are all up for grabs! You can tweet about it daily to get a better chance of winning, just don't forget to comment every time you do an additional entry :] The winner will be announce next Friday, January 14th.

  2. I didn't really like the book. I still have to watch the movie. Go for Julia's autobiography, "My Life in France". So much better to hear her life in her voice! :D
