bed head, downpour, and the week from hell...

Bed Head. Good morning! This is what my hair looks like when I fall asleep with it still wet. This photo doesn't do it justice. It was a mess. Luckily, after a few minutes with a straightener, my bangs are flat and it's a lot more manageable :]

Downpour. Apparently this is the wettest month we've had in 150 years. Insane. I'm sitting here typing this wondering if the rain is going to blow down my wall. It's raining that hard. My rain boots have been a staple in my wardrobe for the past two weeks. I'm running out of outfits that look semi-decent with them. My poor umbrella has flipped inside out three times already and I'm not sure how much more it can take! The ironic thing is, back at my home in Dayton, we just recently lost a whole tree due to the drought we had been having previous to this. If only he could have survived a few more months!

Hell Week. This week. Ugh. I can make it! I'm half way through and can see the top of the mountain! I've never been so stressed in my life! My final project for architecture is due today. Glad that's finally over with. But I have another project for one of my elective architecture classes that's due on Friday and a mini 7 page thesis paper on the similarities between fashion and architecture due Tuesday. A lot of you are probably thinking, "7 pages? Puuuuuleeeaaase." You'd be right except for the fact that in architecture you hardy ever pick up a pencil. Luckily, I'm a pretty decent writer when I'm forced to be and my professor has even said he loves my writing style. So now, I've just got to start the thing!

Hopefully in the next few days I'll be back to a normal blogging schedule. I've been watching a ton of Netflix while getting projects done so I'm sure you'll see what I've been up to soon. Don't forget to enter to win a small sponsor spot for May! I'm announcing the winner tonight!

Oh, and to add to the downpour section... as I'm finishing up this post the tornado sirens started to go off. Awesome. I love Ohio. The only thing better would be tornado alley o.O

  7. Yes it is! We could totally move to the desert, except then it gets so hot that we'd only be able to leave the house before the sun comes up and after the sun goes down.
(And no, I didn't get an email abt the reply.)
